Albert Mushinsky Obituary

Albert J. Mushinsky, 85, of Framingham, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his residence. Albert was the devoted husband for 57 years to Sophie (Kobylarz) Mushinsky. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Julius and Lillian (OKeefe) Mushinsky. He was a Graduate from the Newark College of Engineering where he received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Engineering. He received many advanced degrees and became a Professional Engineer. He continually strove to further his education throughout his life. Mr. Mushinsky served for 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. For many years, Albert was with the Alton Electronic Corp. He loved his work and always found ways as an inventor to solve any problem. In his later years, he worked as a Home Inspector and was a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. Albert thoroughly enjoyed flying gliders, he became a pilot and then a flight instructor. He was a former member of the MIT and Greater Boston Soaring Association. He believed life was an adventure; he never stayed still, was skillful at all he did and if he wasnt then he worked on it until he became proficient. Throughout his life, Alberts family was his world. He loved them dearly and would always engage them and teach them, from BMX motor cross bikes to snowmobiling to competing in computer games. Besides his wife, Sophie, he is survived by his children, Ronald Mushinsky, James Mushinsky, John Mushinsky and Maryann McParland and her husband Jason; seven grandchildren, Mitchell, Jessica, Angela, Michaela, Nicholas, Diana and Ashley. He is also survived by his brother Don Mushinsky and his wife Phyllis, brother-in-law Tom Baron and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his funeral Mass on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10 am at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd., Rte 9 @ Framingham Centre. Burial will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours with be Friday from 4 -7 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (Corner of Union Ave) Framingham.
