I only remember Alex from his high school days. Worked with him briefly at the Marlboro c.c. In the kitchen. With me he was always a funny, hard working fun loving kid. Always had a smile on his face. Treated me with respect and left a lasting impression on me. So glad he had a full life filled with a family that I'm sure he loved dearly. High school was not good to me, Alex was. I have always remembered that . Got to meet him at an mhs 50th class reunion and it made my day.

Dear Alex, I grew up three houses from you on Lincoln St. I hardly knew you as you were 6-years older than me and had gone off to Vietnam by the time I started High School. But I knew your sister Mary Elaine (same HS Class of 1969) and your parents. Your dad Jim was a good friend of
my dad Tony. And your mom made great pastries! I am also former US Army, Vietnam (71-72), and am proud to hear you earned the rank of Major in the service. So. I salute you! God Bless you and your family!
