Barbara Geishecker Obituary

HOPKINTON Barbara R. Geishecker, 81, of Hopkinton, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Mason) Mullen. She was a longtime Hopkinton resident. She is survived by two sons, David E. Geishecker and his wife, Caroline, of Harwich and Alan W. Geishecker and his wife, Alice, of Woodbridge, Va.; one daughter, Sarah J. DePaolo and her husband, Gary, of Hopkinton; two brothers, Peter Mullen and his wife, Addie, of Rochester and Kenneth Mullen and his wife, Patricia, of Canyon Country, Calif.; three sisters, Jane Smith and her husband, Richard, of Westborough, Miriam Nigro and her husband, Eugene, of Reading and Linda Rogers and her husband, Kenneth, of Plano, Texas. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Cassie, Angelina, Julie, Jack, Kyle, Anthony and Mitchell, as well as four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth Carey and three brothers, John, Donald, and Gene. A funeral service will take place Monday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at Woodville Baptist Church on Rte. 135 in Hopkinton. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are from Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UMass Memorial Visiting Nurse and Hospice Assoc., 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
