Working with Bruce at Bolton Street Tavern was one of the best things about working there. Every time I walked into the building I got a sincere "hello, darlin'" as soon as I walked in the kitchen. He kept the staff laughing all day long with his quick, sassy remarks. Boy did he know how to make you smile.

I'm grateful that I stopped by to see him Thursday before his passing for the first time in months. I'm not sure what possessed me to stop by to say hello out of the blue, but I am certainly glad I did it. I'll always hold on to all the funny memories we had. Rest in the sweetest of peace, Bruce. Prayers to all his friends and family, and I hope you are able to find strength in one another during this difficult time.

I had a good time working with Bruce at the Bolton Street Tavern. I will truly miss him a lot. I will miss him telling me jokes and making a good start to a busy day on Saturday morning when we both opened the restaurant! He was always grumpy in the morning and I was tired so we made a good pair!

Bruce, you will be in my memory for a very long time. Stay cool up there and keep looking down on us. Peace and Serenity!

Love,
Dian Taylor
