George,
Our hearts go out to you, Martha, Elizabeth, and David, and to Carol's sisters as well. In a few hours we will struggle to find comforting words at Carol's memorial, knowing full well that are are no such words. You and Carol have been in our thoughts constantly, and you will continue to be there. We are both so sorry.

Dear Uncle George, David, Martha, and Elizabeth,
What a sorrow to hear of the passing of Aunt Carol. Although far apart in miles, she was frequently in my thoughts, especially as she bravely fought her battle these past many months.
I have many fond memories of our younger years, and I will cherish them.
Please know you will continue in my family's thoughts and prayers, and we wish you our sincerest sympathies in these hours of your sorrow.

Martha and Family, I am so sorry for your great loss. Grammy was an inspiration to me in so many ways. I am so blessed to have gotten the chance to spend the past summer with her, talking about Italy, giving me advice and tips on teaching the little ones and even going on walks together. She will definetly be missed but never forgotten.
