FRAMINGHAM Emily M. (Whitcher) Jespersen, 86, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Kathleen Daniel Nursing Home, Framingham. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Frank B. and Mary (Shea) Whitcher. She was the wife of the late Hugh Semple and the late Henry Jespersen. Mrs. Jespersen was a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 1939. During World War II, she was involved with the USO, organizing entertainment for servicemen and women. She worked for SS Pierce Bakery for many years and at the Framingham Public Library, Saxonville branch for many years. Mrs. Jespersen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was good natured, had a great sense of humor and loved life. Her fondest memories where traveling through Europe, especially Denmark She is survived by her sister, Louise I. Hart and her husband, Jack, of Framingham; three brothers, Raymond and Gerard Whitcher, both of Framingham, and Donald Whitcher of Clearwater, Fla.; her nephews, Peter Hart and his wife, Karen, of Florida, Jack Hart and his wife, Karen, of Mashpee, Gregory Hart and Michelle Fredette of Lincoln; her niece, Bonnie Hart Higgins and her husband, Peter, of Lincoln. She is also survived by her great-nieces and nephews, Stephanie Hart Dalton and her husband, Mike, of Andover, Katrina Hart of Waltham, Shannon Hart of Mashpee, Sam, Abby and Harry Higgins, all of Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, March 7, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Norton Funeral Home, (
www.nortonfuneralhome.com), 53 Beech St., (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St., Rte. 126, Framingham.
