Floyd B. "Jake" Corliss Jr.

Floyd B. Corliss Jr. LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine Floyd "Jake" B. Corliss Jr., 56, formerly of Natick, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Hospice House in Auburn, Maine, with his daughter by his side, after a long illness. He was born July 27, 1951, in Burlington, Vt., the son of Floyd and Mary Corliss. He grew up in Natick, graduating from Natick High School in 1969. He became a well-known auto mechanic, honored with the prestigious Master Technician award in 1995, for which he was very proud. He is survived by his three children, Timothy Corliss and his wife, Jodie, and their son, Braeden, of Livermore, Calif., Melanie Rounds and her husband, Christopher, and their daughter, Abigail of Livermore Falls, Maine, and Brett Corliss and his wife, Mary Ann, and their son, Joshua, of Natick. He also is survived by his sister, Vicki Corliss, and her four daughters; a sister, Cindy Seder; and a brother, Mark Corliss. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at First Baptist Church, 13 Common St., Natick.
