Irene V. Lewkowicz

WESTBOROUGH Irene V. (Knoblock) Lewkowicz, 73, of Westborough, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund Lewkowicz and devoted mother to Paul and his wife, Mary, Andrew and his wife, Lisa, and the late Carla. She was the cherished grandmother of Kayla, Emily and Julia. She is also survived by her twin brother, Henry and many nieces and nephews. Irene had a long and successful career as a human resources executive with the Estee Lauder Company in New York and in Pennsylvania. A mentor and friend to many colleagues, she was a graduate of The Mary Louis Academy and Adelphi University. She was a world traveler, avid golfer and intellectually curious all the days of her life. Her family and many friends will remember their Reenie for her grace, elegance and courage. Visiting hours from 5 to 8 p.m., will be on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home (www.westboroughfuneral home.com), 62 West Main St., Westborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, at 70 West Main St., Westborough.
