James P. Dold

SHERBORN James P. Dold, 62, of Sherborn died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at his home. He was the husband of Adriana (Van Hoof) Dold for 40 years. A Sherborn resident for 31 years, he was born in Derby, Conn., the son of Ann (OKeefe) Wicklander of Florida and the late Philip Dold. Mr. Dold was the founder and dedicated owner for 25 years of Dold Marketing Company. He enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking, but what he loved most was spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Courtenay McQueston and her husband, Mark, of Uxbridge; one son, James P. Dold Jr. and his wife, Jen, of Northborough; two sisters, Diane Wall and Elaine Swats, both of Florida; his half brother, Philip Becker of California; his cherished grandchildren, Ashley McQueston, Makala McQueston and Jacob Philip Dold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Church of Sherborn, 25 South Main St. (Rte. 27).
