Janice E. Rench

1939 - 2016

Janice E. (Bingham) Rench passed away on April 12, 2016 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center after a long illness. She was born on December 13, 1939 to Clyde A. and Elizabeth M. Bingham. She grew up in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She was a Licensed Social Worker working at the Rape Crisis Center of Cleveland, Ohio prior to moving back to Massachusetts where she continued her work counseling victims of domestic abuse. She is a published author of four books on abuse and one book on Bipolar Disorder. She is survived by her children John Kohler and his wife Mary Kohler from Arizona, Elizabeth Kohler (her late husband Warren Burns) and their son Allen Kohler- Burns from Framingham, and Thomas Kohler and his wife Stacey Kohler, and their sons Aaron and Benjamin also from Framingham. Ms. Rench leaves behind four stepchildren (Devin and Phillip Rench, Tepe Hamilton and Stephanie Brown) and seven step-grandchildren and her sister-in-law Sally Leffingwell all from Illinois. She also leaves behind her siblings Barbara Wallster and her husband Elmer Wallster from Arkansas, Albert Bingham and his partner, Darryl McDermott from Kansas, Donald Bingham and his wife Gayle Bingham from Wareham, Richard Bingham from Tennessee, Bonnie Dalton from Middleboro and Kenneth Bingham and his wife Pat Bingham from California and many nieces and nephews.
