Joseph M. Teti

Joseph M. Joe Teti, died peacefully and comfortably surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was born in Italy the son of the late Giuseppe Teti and Caterina (Gallo) Teti. Joe is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary I (Gennaro) Teti of Wayland with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in July. He was the cherished father of Rosemarie Teti and was pre-deceased by his son Nicholas O. Teti who died in March of 1990. He is also survived by his other children Pasquale Teti, AnnaMaria Connolly and his daughter-in-law, Nancy (Siok) Teti, wife of the late Nicholas O. Teti. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Brother of the late Nicholas Teti. Joe has been a resident of Wayland for the past 50 years and previously resided in Natick after coming to the United States from Italy. For many years, Joe was associated with the Natick Paperboard Company as a Supervisor and retired after 29 years of dedicated service. The most important aspect of Joes life was his devotion to his family, particularly his wife, daughters, sons and grandchildren as well as his extended family. He will be fondly remembered by all those who loved and cared for Joe. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 9:00 am followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main St (Rte 27), Wayland. Interment will follow in the Teti family lot in Lakeview Cemetery.
