Katherine N. Sleczkowski

Katherine N. Sleczkowski (Kathy) of Berlin, MA passed away on December 1, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Alan C. Johnson. Born in Framingham, MA on November 27, 1957, she was the daughter of Nancy (Belbusti) Hogan of Pepperell, MA and the late Alfred Sleczkowski of Framingham. She attended the Framingham school system and graduated from Framingham South High School with the class of 1975. Kathy earned her Associates Degree from Mass Bay Community College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Stop and Shop supermarkets for 37 years. In her free time she enjoyed skiing, running, motorcycle riding and gardening. Besides her husband she is also survived by her brother, Joseph A. Sleczkowski and his wife Janet of Pepperell, MA; sisters, Maureen Russo of Cocoa, FL; Karin Mansfield of Titusville, FL; Donna Sleczkowski of Framingham, MA and Diane Mahar of Beaverton, OR. She was predeceased by her brother Robert J. Sleczkowski. She also leaves behind her close friend Richard McMullen of Bellingham, MA and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland on Saturday, December 28th at 4 PM with calling hours being held from 2-4 PM prior to the service.
