Kenneth Paulson Obituary

ASHLAND Kenneth Paulson, 51, of Ashland, passed away Aug. 17, 2008, in Boston. He was the husband of Kelly (Morrissey) Paulson. Born in Revere, he was the son of Rose (Chiarella) Paulson of Revere and the late Kevin Paulson. He had lived in Ashland for 11 years. He was a devoted husband and father. He coached soccer and little league. He loved the Boston Red Sox and from his recliner he coached them through their wins and losses. He was famous for his Italian sauce and meatballs. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by one son, Ken Paulson, and one daughter, Claire Paulson, both of Ashland; one sister, Donna LoConte and her husband, Joseph, of East Boston; one brother, Stephen Paulson and his wife, Nancy, of Revere; two brothers-in-law, William Morrissey of Gardner and Robert Morrissey of Centerville; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Morrissey of Centerville; his father-in-law, William Morrissey of Framingham; his grandmother, Mildred Chiarella of Revere; his nieces and nephews, Frankie and Kristina LoConte, Angela, Michelle, Carolyn Paulson, Katherine and Alexandra Morrissey, and many friends of Bill W. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, in the Federated Church, Main Street, Ashland, at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Paulson Childrens Fund, c/o Patricia Iampietro, TD Banknorth, 361 Pond St., Shaws Plaza, Ashland, MA 01721.

Cousin, I'll miss you forever, you taught me how to play pool in gram and gramps basement, here I was little blond hair angel who was a hell of a pool player at 10 years old. After my mom and dad got divorced you would sleep at my house, cause you didn't want us to be alone or scared. I love you. Say hi to Cousin Jimmy and Grandpa Jim. Cousin Gigi.
