Lorraine S. Krasner

Lorraine S. Krasner, 88, of Bennington Road, Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 13. She was the wife of the late Julius Krasner and the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Kline) Fowler. Lorraine is survived by three children, Michael Krasner and his wife, Sheryl, of Westborough, MA; Steven Krasner and his wife, Susan Oclassen, of East Greenwich, and Marie Holloway of Boca Raton, FL. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Krasner) Marks; Amy, Jeffrey and Emily Krasner; Brian, Christopher, Daniel and Andrew Holloway; and two great-grandchildren, Molly and Darcy Marks. She was the sister of Evelyn Robinovitz. A graduate of Hope High School, she was an honorary alumna of the University of Rhode Island. A resident of Cranston for 60 years, she delivered Meals on Wheels in the city with her husband. She was a member of Temple Sinai. The funeral will be held Sunday, June 16, at 11 a.m. in Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St., Providence with burial in Lincoln Park Cemetery. Shiva will be observed Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 at 48 Bennington Rd., Cranston, and at 64 Powder Hill Way, Westborough, MA on Mon 7-9.
