Louis A. Tzimoulis MARLBOROUGH Louis A. Tzimoulis, 91, of Marlborough, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Bolton Manor Nursing Home in Marlborough, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Bessie (Margaritis) Tzimoulis; a son, Aristotelis (Ted) Tzimoulis and his wife, Valerie, of Marlborough; three granddaughters, Lea Tzimoulis of Marlborough, Elissa MacEwen and her husband, Kenneth, of Marlborough, and Katina Postizzi and her husband, Steve, of Northborough. He also leaves four great-grandchildren and his brother-in-law, Charlie Margaritis and his wife, Penny, of Southborough; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was born in Agia Sotira, Kozanis, Greece, son of the late Anthony and Maria (Gogos) Tzimoulis, and had lived in Marlborough for most of his life. He was a lieutenant and medical corpsman in the Grecian Army from 1940 to 1941. He came to the United States in 1949 and had lived in Marlborough for the rest of his life. He was a devoted member of the Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Marlborough, where he was the cantor for more than 50 years. In 2000, he received high recognition from the Boston Greek Orthodox Metropolitan for his service to his church, of which he was very proud. He also was a member of the Pentalafos Greek Society. He worked part-time for the Papa Gino's in Sudbury, where he became well known for his enthusiasm and happy disposition. Previously, he had spent 14 years with International Paper in Framingham, 18 years at Hygrade Deerfoot Farms in Southborough and a short time with the former Diamond Shoe in Marlborough. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved sharing time with his family and traveled many times back to his homeland of Greece with his wife, Bessie. He will be missed by family and many friends who loved him. His funeral will take place Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough, with services at 11 a.m. in Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, corners of Central and Cashman streets, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough. Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Sts.
