I'm sorry for the loss of my Grandmother.
I have a memory of Thanksgiving- I was very very young maybe 4 and her mashed potatos were the best I think she mashed turnip in with them. I feel fortunate to have a photo of her with Grandfather, my Father and my Mother.
Take good care all

Dear Mary, My memories of your mom, go back to our childhood. I remember seeing you and your mom walking to church every Sunday morning. She always looked lovely. I marvel now when I think of her cooking for ten people in that rather small kitchen, and that after working a full day at LMH. Her gardens were beautiful, and you could tell how much she enjoyed them. She certainly had a full life, and seemed to make the best out of whatever came her way, be it happiness or great sadness. Take comfort that she had a good life, and you were a big part of it. I think she was very content these past twenty plus years living with you and Edward. My thoughts are with you, and all of your family at this time of loss. Grace Galanti

Mary,
My condolences to you and your siblings, sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful, sincere, kind person, one of best ladies I ever met. Your father was a true gentleman. They were a loving couple that raised 8 children. Now they are at peace in heaven together at last "forever". May they rest in peace, god bless them.

mary, your mother must have been a very special person to have raised someone as thoughtful and kind as you. i remember uncle bill once remarked to me that you must have been brought up with a lot of love around. so, even though your mother got in her full time here, i'm sure she will be sorely missed by all . with sincere wishes to you and your family, dick byrd
