Richard T. Nugent

Richard T. Nugent, of Marlborough, formerly of Watertown, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor A. (Teeven) Nugent, he was the devoted father of Richard K. Nugent and his wife, Roberta, of Framingham, Cheryl A. Griffith and her husband, Ted, of Franklin, Tenn., Joan M. Leary and her husband, Brian, of Framingham, and Nancy E. Dickie and her husband, Kevin, of Medway; loving grandfather of Ryan, Matt and Cam Leary, Jacqueline, Danielle and Michael Nugent, Katherine and Caroline Dickie and Kerri-Ann and Lauryn Griffith; brother of the Rev. Kevin Nugent of Maryland, and the late Leo, Charles and Joseph Nugent. A funeral will take place Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 8 a.m., at the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St. (Rte. 16), Watertown. A funeral Mass will follow at 9 a.m., at the Church of St. Luke, 132 Lexington St., Belmont. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, Sept. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, would be appreciated.
