Stella Jue

NATICK Stella (Goon) Jue, 83, of Natick, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Jung Goon and Chin Goon, she had been a resident of Natick for the past 52 years. A graduate of the Bryant and Stratton School, Stella was employed by the Town of Natick for 21 years, working in the Natick School Department for 16 years and the Natick Zoning Board of Appeals for five years. While in the school department, Mrs. Jue was secretary for five years to former superintendent of schools, Dr. Joseph Keefe. Throughout her life, she enjoyed reading, sewing for her family and especially knitting for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stella was the beloved wife of Hung Jue; the cherished mother of Richard Jue of Santa Cruz, Calif., Kenneth Jue of Keene, N.H., Philip Jue of Burbank, Calif., Madeline Ling of Carlisle and Eric Jue of San Francisco. She was the devoted sister of Elisabeth Chin of New York City; the cherished grandmother of Alexis Clark, Nathaniel Jue, Andrew Jue; and the great-grandmother of Jarrett Clark, Elliott Clark and Jillian Clark. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (www.everettfuneral.com), 4 Park St., at Natick Common, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Seth Asare, pastor of Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church in Natick, will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.
