Svetlana K. Stefanova

Svetlana Koleva (Anguelova) Stefanova, 47, of Marlborough died Wednesday (Apr. 25, 20l2) at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by her family. She leaves her husband of 24 years Ioji Stefanov and her two daughters Dessislava I. Stefanova and Maria I. Stefanova both of Marlborough. Also leaves her parents Kolyo and Dimitria (Macheva) Anguelov of Marlborough. She was the sister of the late Roza Mollova who died in 2007. She was born in Sliven, Bulgaria and has lived in Marlborough for the past 17 years. She was a graduate of the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria with a Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering. For the past 5 years she worked as a senior analyst programmer for the Helen of Troy (KAZ) of Southborough. Previously worked at Tyco Inc. of Westminster, Lucient of Marlborough, Ascent of Marlborough and started work when she first came to Marlborough at Stratus. She was a member of SS Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church of Marlborough. She was a member of the Wayside Racquet and Swim Club of Marlboro where she enjoyed playing tennis and working out. Also loved to travel and loved going back to Bulgaria with her family to visit her relatives and friends and she loved to knit. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday (Apr.3O,2O12) in SS Anargrroi Greek Orthodox Church , corner of Central and Cashman Sts., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough are Sunday 3 to 6 P.M.
