Victor Deeb

Victor Deeb, 78, of Marlborough died Saturday March 26, 2016 at his home. He was born in Damascus, Syria the son of the late Mitry and Alexandra Deeb and was raised and educated in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a graduate of Kent State University, receiving a BS in Chemistry and Computer Science. Victor was an accomplished chemist, with over 50 years of experience in formulating, coatings, adhesives, and sealants for various applications. He worked for The Ball Brothers Corporation, Continental Can Co., and for 20 years at W. R. Grace retiring in 1995 to start his own research firm, R&D Technologies. Besides his wife Ghada, he leaves two sons, Michael Deeb of Cambridge and Mitry Deeb of Atlanta; a daughter Marcell Deeb-Lubsey and her husband Vince Lubsey of Atlanta; and four beloved grandchildren: Christian, Alexandra, Mathew and Nichole. Calling hours will be held Thursday March 31 from 5-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Funeral and burial will be private.
