TROY -- Amy Jo Via age 58, of Troy passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Troy Rehabilitation and Health Care. She was born January 26, 1964, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents Walter & Norma Dean (Iddings) Via who preceded her in death. Amy worked at Riverside Training Industries (RTI) and was an avid Piqua Indians, University of Dayton and Reds fan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Russ & Lori Armstrong who served as her loving foster parents for the past 10 years.
She will be missed and remembered by her siblings James & Beverly Via of Troy and Thomas & Sue Via of Texas; nephews Jay Via II, Benjamin Via, and Brad Via; nieces Stacey Rangel and Shelby Poulos; and numerous extended family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 27, at Jackson-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Training Industries or Hospice of Miami County.
