CHRISTIANSBURG -- Anna Jane Welty, age 86, of Christiansburg, OH passed away at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:40 p.m.
Born on October 14, 1935 in Champaign County, OH, Jane was a daughter of the late Floyd Wyn and Ettna Marie (Pine) Frank. She married Robert "Monk" Welty on November 9, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 15, 2021. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Pershing and Howard Frank, and two sisters Mildred Frank and Rose Jean Ditmer.
Jane is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Robert Michael Welty of Christiansburg and Daniel Lee and Tammy Welty of St. Paris. She was a loving grandmother to three grandsons, Jacob Skyler and his wife Caitlyn of Bedford, PA, Anthony Lee and Nathan William both of Casstown, and three great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Benjamin and Gabriel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jane was a 1953 graduate of Harrison Adams High School in Rosewood, Ohio. She worked for G. C. Murphy's in Urbana, Hobart Manufacturing in Troy, and she retired as a cashier in the cafeteria at Graham South with 32 years of service.
Jane was a member of the Kiser Lake Saddle Club where she participated in square dancing on horses. She loved to crochet, knit and sew. She was a good cook and enjoyed taking care of her family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, Ohio with Pastor Tom Amlin presiding. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, N. Heck Hill Road, St. Paris, OH. There will be visitation from 12:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the service.
An evening of visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

My mom and I were just talking about your mom. We were wondering about her. My dad, Jim Frank, was her cousin. We used to enjoy our Frank reunions many years ago. I always enjoyed time with your mom. So very sorry for your loss.
