TROY - Barbara J. Arcidiacono, age 96, of Troy, OH, passed away on November 4, 2025, at StoryPoint in Troy. She was born June 11, 1929, in Christiansburg, OH to the late Judson and Julia (Shell) Jenkins. Barbara married the love of her life, Tony, on August 8, 1948, in Rehoboth, Maryland. They celebrated 65 years of marriage together.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-laws: Tonia (Don) Wogoman of Troy, OH, Debra (Chris) Koman of Springfield, OH and Renata (Andre) Nichols of Sidney, OH; eight grandchildren: Anthony Wogoman (Jenna), Monica Oates Wogoman (Todd), Philip Morrow, Matthew Koman, Angie (Jason) Ray, Jacqulyn (Jordan) Helmer and Jamie Smith (Arrington); twelve great-grandchildren: Brittany, Rylee, Aubrey, Noah, Avery, Caitlin, Brandon, Brandee, Madison, Natalie, Cooper, and Adriona; great-great grandchildren: Lyla, Dominic, Landon, Brenleigh, Bentley and Miriam; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband: Tony Arcidiacono; grandson: Sean Koman; brother: Harold Jenkins, sisters: Lois Young, Martha Stephenson, Thelma Hildebrand, Norma Dean Coleman and her special companion: "Precious" Bichon Frise.
Barbara loved gardening, her flowers, visits to the ocean. She enjoyed baking at Christmas time and cooking for her family. But above all she was a wonderful wife and loving mother, and she will always be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her.
Friends may call from 1:00PM to 2:00PM on Wednesday prior to the service. Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday November 12, 2025, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Chaplain Mark Batton officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Day City Hospice at 7601 Paragon Rd, Suite 203, Dayton, OH 45459.
