NEW CARLISLE -- Barbara Sue Burrowes, age 78, of New Carlisle, OH passed away on January 9, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1943 in Dayton, OH. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas E. Burrowes; her children Trish (Todd) McKinney, Thomas (Jan) Burrowes and John (Julie) Burrowes; grandchildren Lauren (Sage) Iacovone, Jordan (Sarah) Burrowes, Lane (Jessica) McKinney, Joshua Burrowes, Sydney Burrowes, Noah (Madyson) Burrowes, Grace McKinney, Mandy Shoopman and Tyler Shoopman; four great grandchildren; brother David (Mary Jo) Shade; and numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 1:30 pm until time of Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm at Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, 7505 Taylorsville Rd., Dayton, OH 45424.
