Beverly Gariety

1950 - 2021

PIQUA - Beverly A. Gariety, 71, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday, April 07, 2021 in the comfort of her home. She was born March 1, 1950 in Cincinnati to the late Robert "Bob" and Marie (Bruening) Gariety.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Gambill of Piqua; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher "Radar" O'Reilly; and a brother, Kenneth Gariety.

Ms. Gariety was a graduate of Russia High School. She worked in retail for many years at various department stores. She loved to shop and was always on the hunt for a good deal. She enjoyed watching horse racing and listening to the music from the 50's and 60's. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved deeply.

A gathering of family and friends to honor her life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
