PIQUA - Bonnie Gayle Doll, 79, of Piqua, passed away at 4:04 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1946, in Piqua to the late David and Violet (Packman) Abbott. She married Charles E. Doll April 11, 1970, in Troy; and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Amanda Doll Harmon of Piqua; and a sister, Connie (Fred) Barhorst of Sidney.
Mrs. Doll was a 1966 graduate of Troy High School. She worked in various positions over the years, including Grissom's Supermarket, Pick-N-Save, K-Mart, and most recently at F&P America. Bonnie was a gentle soul who found peace in the simplicity and meaning in the small, steady rhythms of everyday life. She preferred the stillness over noise, sincerity over small talk, and connection over crowds. Home was where Bonnie felt most herself and enjoyed tending to her routines. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
A service to honor her life will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Chaplain Brian Clark officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity in Bonnie's memory.
