TROY -- Clifford T. Haney, 82, of Troy, more recently of Sidney, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born September 8, 1939 in Piqua to the late Junius and Evelyn (Jacobs) Haney. He married Zena L. Norris; and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include four children, Thomas (Rosie) Haney of Charlotte, North Carolina, Taunya (Doug) Teel of Roseville, Illinois, Anthony Haney of Sidney, Tina (James) Lyons of Houston; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Helen Stiffler of Troy, and Joyce (Ron) McClurg of Ft. Recovery; and several nieces and nephews who he was very close to. He was preceded in death by one son, Scott Thomas.
Mr. Haney served in the United States Army for two years. He worked as a welder for various companies over the years. He loved to be outside and spend his time fishing, camping, and enjoying a cold beer. He looked forward to family gatherings and enjoyed spending time with his family.
A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
