TROY - Frances M. Dankworth, age 83, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born on June 9, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Basil B. and Mary Etta (Dudley) Persinger.
She is survived by her son: Michael F. Dankworth; grandchildren: Holly Dankworth, Michael A. (Tammy) Dankworth, Steven (Jinelle) Dankworth, Jason Osborn, Amber Behm, Ashley Dankworth and Joel Dankworth; fifteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; sibling: Midgie Crouch; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas R. Dankworth; daughter: Susan G. Osborn; son: Thomas Lee Dankworth; daughter-in-law: Susan Marie Dankworth; granddaughter: Frances Michelle Dankworth and siblings: Wanda L. Persinger, Charlene K. Bridges, Roberta L. Best, Pansy Smith, Basil Gene Persinger, Ray Ruby, William R. Persinger and Clay Estep.
Frances retired from nursing with Upper Valley Medical Center. She was a member of the Skyview Wesleyan Church in Tipp City and loved reading her bible and attending church.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor John Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Covington, OH. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.
