Dear Kapfhammers,My condolences. Mr. Kapfhammer was truly a good example of how to live a welland meaning life. Just last week some of the old school neighborhood was talking about how economics were for us as african americans back in the 60's and there was no way we could reflect without Mr.kapfhammer and coronet cleaners and laundromat in the fore front. Mr. Kapfhammer was a kind and gentle person who believed in the west end by placing businesses there and in turn encouring us that we as african american can do this too. He gave us much encouragement and hope for a better tomorrow for ourselves and our families. And when he franchised the long john silvers, that was as good as a purchse to us :)My mother, Miss Ida, who was his housekeeper was so proud. She told everybody that she cleaned the home for the man who owned Long John Silvers :) He was such a fair and kind person. Never raised his voice, always a kind walking spirit of love for his fellow man. When the west end riots took place, he was concerned.I just wanted to share this special time with you all as he was so special to my mother and the west end.
Well done, Mr. Kapfhammer,
Job well done
family be blessed
