Jackie Diane Grody Culver

TROY — Jackie Diane Grody Culver, 70, of Troy, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Jackie was born in Piqua on March 2, 1945, to the (late) Vincent "Pat" and Bessie M. (Weldy) Graham.

She attended Piqua Central High School; retired with 10 years of service from the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, Troy; previously worked for 11 years at Stanley, Covington and Koester Pavilion, Troy, for three years. She was good at scratch-offs, an avid bingo player, loved doing Suduko puzzles, loved going to the casino boats, was a homemaker and loved to cook.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert S. Culver in 2014; son, William Grody Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Wysong, Catherine Hecker; and three brothers, John, Richard and Jimmy Graham.

Jackie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Lorraine Grody of Piqua, Donald and Lisa Grody of Bradford; daughter, Brenda Pearce of Piqua; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two step-children, Rob Culver of Huber Heights and Kellie Culver of South Carolina; brother, Joseph Graham of Russells Point; three sisters, Delores Brown of Piqua, Rosalie Gade of Germantown, Nancy and husband James Holts of Piqua; father of her children, William Grody of Bradford; exchange student, Hugo Hansen of Sweden; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, with Pastor Paul Hickernell officiating. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
