PIQUA — Jodi L. (Peake) Cagle, 47, of Piqua, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at her residence. She was born Feb. 6, 1970, in San Diego, California, to Cathy (Sirch) Popp of Piqua and the late James Popp. She married Terry Peake on March 20, 1993, in Sidney. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 2010. She then married Kent Cagle on June 11, 2011, who also preceded her in death Dec. 12, 2011.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Shelbi (Adam) Windle of Jacksonville, North Carolina; a son, Jared Peake of Piqua; and a sister, Jenny (Shane) Cagle of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Jodi was a 1988 graduate of Piqua High School and attended Wright State University. She was a member of Upper Valley Community Church. She worked as a cosmetologist instructor at the Joint Vocational School, as well as a business owner for the former Kutterz Salon.
She enjoyed working on crafts and crocheting. She was an avid band mother as well as a member of the Alumni Marching Band. She loved to cook and prepare snacks for the high school band on their outings.
A service to honor her life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Monnin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Valley Community Church 1400 Seidel Pkwy., Piqua, OH 45356.
