John Bahun Obituary

TROY - John Joseph Bahun, 65 of Troy, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Hospice of Miami County inpatient facility.

He was born August 27, 1959, in Springfield to the late Frank and Lavada (Carlson) Bahun. Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers Doug, Mike, and Rudy Bahun.

Those left to cherish John's memory include his wife of 40 years, Anna (Campbell) Bahun, daughter and son-in-law Gwendolyn and Nate Mote of Colorado, as well as granddaughter Claribel Mote.

John was a 1977 graduate of Tecumseh High School and received his associate's degree in computer science from Sinclair Community College. He was a HAM radio operator and worked for Reynolds & Reynolds in Dayton for over 20 years as a hardware and software engineer. He also worked for Apple Inc. for several years in California.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.fishercheneyfuneralhome.com
