TROE—John B. Williams, age 80, of Troy, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at StoryPoint of Troy, Ohio. He was born on May 9, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harvey and Dorothy (Charlesworth) Williams.
John is survived by his wife of 60 years: Sandy (Drake) Williams; sons and daughters-in-law: Brad (Cathy) Williams of Dayton; Mike (Suzanne) Williams of Tipp City; Matt (Lynn) Williams of Beavercreek and Steve (Stephanie) Williams of Troy; brother: Rodney Williams of Phoenix; sisters and brothers-in-law: Virginia (John) Salmons of San Antonio and Patricia Coryell of Tampa; ten grandchildren: Nicole, Tyler, Randall, Mitchell, Kyle, Skyler, Jordyn, Matthew, Levi and Joshua; and nine great grandchildren.
John was a member of Troy Christian Church. He was formerly employed for 15 years with Production Control Units in Moraine, OH, where he was a master machinist. John retired as a service engineer with Dayton Trane in Vandalia, currently Waibel Energy Systems, Inc., after 30 years. He enjoyed using his expertise to teach and mentor others during and after his retirement. John was a devoted husband and father.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
