PIQUA - Joseph J. Dyson, Jr, age 78, of Piqua, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday November 26,2025 at Kettering Health Hospital Grandview Dayton. A Celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 3,2025 at Trinity Church, Piqua. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM prior to service at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.

I will miss cousin Jerry he loved going to church.He always had good heart he was easy to talk to when I lost my brother unexpectedly he was there for me when I needed someone to talk to.He had alot of his mom in him kind hearted he had a sweet spirit. Now he up in heaven with family he will be miss. Praying for Sue his wife and family.

Oh my Sweet Jerry, what I wouldn't give to hear you sing "days of Elijah " just one more time, maybe we'll just have to sing in with our Sweet Jesus someday, I'll definitely be looking for you when I get there
