CONOVER - Keith R. Humphreys, age 84, of Conover, OH passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
He was born on July 4, 1939, in Urbana, OH to the late Kenneth and Susan Mary (Scott) Humphreys.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years of marriage: Connie K. (Myers) Humphreys; son: Jason M. (Sherrie) Humphreys of Sidney; daughter: Trisha M. (Kenny) Dyer of St. Paris; grandchildren: Britney (Steven) Ridenour of Delaware, Tia (JT) Huff of Christiansburg, Cory (Thomas) Duncan of West Milton, Brandy (Neal) Norman of Troy, Jason (Ashley Tufts) Dyer of Casstown, Jeff (Lindsey Crider) Dyer of Sidney, Randy Humphreys of Sidney, Adam Humphreys of Lewisburg, Amber Humphreys of Bradford and Cheyenne Humphreys of Clayton and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Toni Gordley.
Keith served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War from 1961-1966. He attended The Ohio State University and received a BS Degree in Business Administration from Wright State University. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy and Christ United Methodist Church in Sterling, CO.
He retired as a controller from Siebenthaler Company, Dayton and previously served as treasurer and controller with High Voltage Maintenance Corporation in Dayton, manager of corporate accounting with Hobart Corporation in Troy and senior assistant accountant with Haskins and Sells CPA in Dayton.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment to follow in Abbottsville Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
