Norma Million Obituary

PIQUA — Norma Jean Million, 90, of Piqua, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at her home. Norma was born in Greenville on June 18, 1926, to the (late) David Edward and Helen (Sampson) Manning; retired from Hobart, Troy; previously worked at Atlas Underwear, Piqua; and previously attended Bradford Church of the Brethren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Harley E. Million in 2001; grandson, Jeremy Mescher in 2012; brother, Eldon Manning; and sister, Georgia Manning.

Norma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harley and Jimmie Million of Mableton, Ga.; her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Christopher Mescher of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Stephanie and Alan Lamb of Marietta, Ga., Joseph and Maggie Million of Kennesaw, Ga., John L. Bodine of Marietta, Ga., Carl and Jammie Thomas of McDonough, Ga., Keith and Trista Chapman of Pennacle, N.C., Jamie and Jeremy Smith of Piqua, Jodie Mescher of Bradford; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Floyd Shumaker of Springfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenville Creek Cemetery, Buckneck Road, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the State of the Heart Hospice, Greenville. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
