SIDNEY - Thomas Wayne "Tom" Iiams, 77, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 8:22 P.M. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Wilson Health. He was born on April 7, 1948, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Myron and Janice (Roth) Iiams.
A lifelong member of Sidney First Presbyterian Church, Tom married the former Cheryl Price there on December 17, 1966. She survives him. Also surviving are three children, Jon Iiams, Douglas (Jessica) Iiams, and Myra Iiams; grandchildren, Jessical Russell, Michael Richards, Kelly Russell, Emily Russell, Larry Iiams, and Christopher Iiams; step-grandchildren, Kena (Josh) Russell and Kisha Warden; nine great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Mike (Geri) Iiams, Greg Iiams, and James Iiams. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Iiams.
Tom retired from ConAgra in Troy after 45 years in electrical engineering. He was an avid Ohio State and Bengals football fan who loved walking his property, mowing his acres, and spending time with his golden retriever. Above all, he cherished his family, especially the moments shared with his grandchildren.
A private service will be held for the family at their convenience. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at, www.cromesfh.com
