PIQUA - Timothy L. Hawes, 54, of Piqua, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 in his home. He was born January 16, 1967 in Piqua to the late Elmer E. and Sally K. (Toon) Hawes. He married Pamela S. Shaffer May 11, 2000 in Piqua and she survives.
Other survivors include four children, Amanda Hawes-Staudt, Dutchess Whaley, both of Piqua, Misty Waters of Springfield, James Stout of Marion; nine grandchildren, and one brother, William (Teresa) Hawes of Piqua. He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Sue.
Mr. Hawes had worked for Crane Pumps as well as a wood splitter for many years, which he enjoyed deeply. He loved camping and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
A service to honor his life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Recovery Council, 1059 N. Market St. Troy, OH 45373. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
