Anthony (Tony) Messing
Anthony J. (Tony) Messing, age 63, of Deckerville, formerly of Minden City, died unexpectedly in his home on Thanksgiving Day.
He was born October 21, 196,1 in Harbor Beach the son of Willard J. Messing and the late Sheila (Booms) Messing
Anthony grew up in the Minden City area and attended school in Harbor Beach, graduating in 1979.
On February 11, 2000, he married Katheryn (Nolan) House in Sandusky.
Anthony owned and operated TKM Lawn Care, he worked for McEachin Excavating for several years and most recently for Vogal Dairy Farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was the King of tinkering and liked to be around his children and grandchildren.
Anthony is survived by his wife Kathryn, three sons, Nicholas (Nicole) Messing of Caro, William (Amanda) Messing of Ubly, Jonathon (Samantha) House of Harbor Beach; two daughters Sherie (Luke) Shantz of Bad Axe and Krystal (Nathan)Loomis- McCarty of Bad Axe. Fifteen grandchildren; his father Willard of Ubly; two brothers Randy (Jennifer) Messing of Forestville and Brad Messing of Palms; three sisters Janice (Timothy) Peters of Houghton Lake, Cindy (Mark) Pasciak of Palms and Peggy (Sandy) Domonkos of NC. And several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sheila in 1991 and one grandson.
A celebration of life will take place later next year.
