Geraldine Miller Obituary
Geraldine Margaret (Snell) Miller, 94, of Port Austin, left this mortal coil on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
Geraldine graced the world with her presence on June 12, 1930 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Fred and Pearl (O'Conner) Snell. Geraldine graduated in 1948 from Utley High School and went on to work for GM for 35+ years. She married her high school sweetheart William R. Miller on August 31, 1974; he preceded her in death February 8, 2008. After retiring she moved to Oak Beach in the Thumb in 1983.
Geraldine was a strong, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Always making sure everyone she knew was cared for in whatever way that meant, including her love of rescuing animals. She was a member of Community Wesleyan Church of Elkton.
Geraldine is survived by 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Daniel A. Freeborg and Larry K. Freeborg.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am Monday, June 24th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ean Green officiating. Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery. www.ChampagneFuneralChapel.com
