Marian Mazure Obituary
Marian Helen Mazure, 93 of Kinde, passed away on Friday January 31, 2025 at Meadow Lane Nursing Home in Bad Axe, with her family by her side. Marian was born on December 14, 1931 to the late David and Christina (Booms) Page. Marian married Francis Mazure on December 27, 1952, at St. Peter & Paul church in Ruth, Michigan. They were married for 72 years and together raised 12 children.
Marian was a member of the Ladies Auxilary at St. Edward Catholic church, D of I #608, and loved baking bread, gardening and canning her bounty from her garden. She was a lunch lady for a time at St. Clare Montefalco School in Grosse Pointe, and a greeter at Bad Axe Hospital.
Along with her husband Francis, Marian is survived by her children; Michael (Theresa), Kenneth (Terri), Sheila (Louie) Aceti, Stanley, Anne (Larry) Weber, Steven (Kimberly), Carolyn (Bill) Holsembach, Joseph (Karen), Philip (Ann), Dennis (Tanya), Daniel (Tammy) and Lynn Fischer. She is also survived by her sister Rose (Craig) Lawson and her brother Joe (Gladys) Page. She also was Blessed with and leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Marian was preceded in death by her siblings; Leroy, Bert, Clarence, Florence, Raymond, Rita, George, Margaret, Romanus, Lillian and Marcella; sons in law William Fischer, Brian Djak; daughter in law Vicki Mazure; great-grandchildren Jamy, Deegan and Francis.
Mass of Christian burial for Marian will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church (Annunciation of the Lord Parish), 1709 Moeller Rd. Kinde, Michigan, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Rick Filary and Fr. Yesu Mulakaleti co-officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 PM, with D of I at 3:00 PM, and scripture service at 6:00 PM with Fr.Yesu Mulakaleti, at MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde, 110 Main St. Kinde, MI 48445, and also on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church prior to the service.
Memorials in Marian's name may be offered to the Kinde Food Pantry, P.O. Box 8, Kinde MI 48445
