Mark Bushey Obituary

Mark A. Bushey
Mark A. Bushey, 61, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.
Mark was born October 10, 1960 in Bay City to Maurice and Catherine (Krzewinski) Bushey. He graduated from Laker High School in 1978 and attended Northwood University.
Mark worked as a computer consultant. As the first born of seven, Mark served as his family's leader, compass, and source of goodness for 61 years. He saw this as his life's purpose. Mark guided by example, found joy in the simple, and embraced a spirit of acceptance. As Godfather to Shannon, Alex, and Zachariah, his love and sense of duty extended to his 16 nieces and nephews, where his smile, warm heart and joyful presence lives on. As a devoted son, he cared for his mother and father until his final day. An avid sports fan, Mark enjoyed all sports – especially the Detroit Tigers and Lions – and most recently attended the Indianapolis 500 in May.
Mark is survived by his parents Maurice and Catherine of Caseville; siblings Maribeth of California, Matthew (Marybeth) Boucher of Lake Orion, Linette (Keith) Baur of Caro, Janice (Dan Glidden) of Wisconsin, Renee (Bill) Jacobson of Massachusetts, Brian (Stacey) of Mason; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his niece Grace.
A funeral mass will be 10:00am Saturday, June 25th at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may begin gathering at 9:00am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
