Adolph Cardoze Obituary
Besides for his wife, he is survived by his daughter Sharon (Cardoze) McDermott and her husband Michael of Cromwell. His son, Michael Cardoze and his wife Lori of Middletown. And three step sons, Robert Gonzalez and his wife Michel, Ronald Gonzalez and his wife Celia, and Richard Gonzalez.
He had 8 grandchildren; Melissa and Kyle McDermott, Jared and Lorissa Cardoze, and Ben, Adam, Laura, and Derrick Gonzalez. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and several loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He worked at Pratt and Whitney in Southington for many years as a machinist.
He was a beloved family man, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by those who knew him. His family mattered most to him in life. And he was a die-hard NY Yankees fan and NY Giants fan. Always the life of the party and a great comedian.
He will be forever missed and eternally loved.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 10am in the Coughlin Lastrina Funeral Home 491 High St. Middletown. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery Middlefield at a later date. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb 19, from 5- 7 pm.

I was very sorry to hear about Al, He truly was the "Keeper of the Corner" when it came to Basswood drive and Acacea court.I lived right next door to the Cardoze's and remember him very well growing up as a kid.
