Allen C. Minor, 85, of Middletown, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the West Haven Veterans Hospital. He was born in Middletown, son of Arthur and Irene (Garrity) Minor. Allen was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a mechanic at Riverside Marine. He spent his later years enjoying the warm weather on the boat, surrounded by family and friends. Allen is survived by his daughters, April Minor of Andover, Marcie Mancini of Middletown, Robin Reagan of Middlefield; brother, George Minor of Middletown; grandchildren, Erika Reagan, Alexa Minor, Daniel Yeomans, Allen Minor and Carrie Comer. He was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Minor and Lois Collins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 1st, from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be held on Monday, February 2nd, at 12 p.m. at the State Veterans' Cemetery.
