Diane Russo Obituary
She is survived by her children, Robert Russo of Cromwell and Sallyanne Astromowicz and her husband, Alan Astromowicz of Middletown; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Patty Jean Formica and several other cousins, aunts and uncles and her lifelong friend, Carol Piro of Middletown.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (October 23rd) at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Christian Church, 191 Meriden Road, (Rte. 66), Middlefield. Burial will be in State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at the church on Wednesdayfrom 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to CATALES, Inc., PO Box 901, Middletown, CT 06457. You touched our hearts in so many ways,
your smile so bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper calling you home,
you didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
till all the strength was gone and you could no longer fight.
He had called your name twice before,
you knew you couldn't make him wait anymore.
So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,
knowing that with our love we will be together again some day
