Edith Omicioli Obituary
Edith Omicioli, formally a resident of Portland CT for over 60 years, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH, at the age of 92. Born February 28, 1929, in Darien, CT to parents John Levay and Florence (Stevens) Levay. Edith is predeceased by her husband Charles J. Omicioli, Jr. She is survived by: daughter Deborah (James) Fazzino of CA; son Arthur C. Omicioli of MT; daughter Susan (Chris) Adams of NH; her sister Dorothy (Robert) Santry of OR; and her brother John Levay of Portland, CT she had eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Edith worked at Queens Convalescent Home, Middletown, CT; Stonehaven, Portland CT and Elmcrest, Portland, CT before retiring. She was a communicate of St. Mary Church, Portland, CT, and a longtime volunteer at the Portland Food Bank. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 11 a.m. in the Portland Memorial Funeral Home, 231 Main St., Portland. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery Portland.
