Guiseppa DeBiasio Obituary

Giuseppa DeBiasio, 73, of Poplar Road, Middletown, died on Sunday, Jan. 29 at the Middlesex Hospital. Born on August 22, 1938 in Melilli, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Francesca (Barone) Perticone. Giuseppa had been a resident of Middletown most of her life and a member of St. Sebastian Church. Giuseppa is survived by her loving family, a son, Guglielmo DeBiasio, of Middletown, a daughter, Ada Urgo, of Middletown, two brothers, Guido Perticone, of Flordia and Victorio Perticone, of Italy, a sister, Carmela Ciccio, of New Britian, four grandchildren, and also several nieces and nephews. Giuseppa's significant other, Victorio Rigano, also survives her. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. from the Coughlin - Lastrina Funeral Home, 491 High St., Middletown followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Dear Guglielmo and Ada:
It is hard to lose your mother no matter what age you are. We have all had some kind of grief in our lifetime and we find it hard not to cry and not to be sad. But remember that God listens to us when we mourn and he has promised to comfort and bless us. He always has our back.
