Jane Behm Obituary
Jane (Grimaldi) Behm, 65, of Middletown, wife of Gerald "Gerry" Behm, Jr., died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home with her family. She was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late Vincent and Angelina (Fazzino) Grimaldi. Prior to her retirement, Jane was a hairdresser in Middletown. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jaron Behm and his wife Taja of Middletown; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Jaden, Camille, and Naomi Behm; sisters, Joanne Brown and her husband Joseph of Rocky Hill, Susan Behm and her husband Gary of Middletown; nieces and nephews, Ryan Kowalski (Hanna), Kristen Gibbs (Andy) and their two sons, Alex and Noah, Kevin Kowalski, Allison Donahue, Jessica Behm Woods (Jason) and their daughter, Harper, Brendan Behm, Eric Kelly (Kim) and their son, Henry, and Shannon Kelly; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Behm; sisters-in-law, Kim and Holley Behm; brother-in-law, Dan Donahue. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kahlia Behm and her sister, Diane Donahue. Jane's family is grateful for the care and compassion offered by Dr. Whittaker at the New Britain Hospital for Special Care and the "Starlings Darlings" at the Starling Infusion Center in Rocky Hill, especially Jayne, Katy and Kirsten. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday (June 21st) at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of her family. Friends may visit with her family on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. To share memories or express condolences online, please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.

To Jane's family, I just heard of Jane's passing and am so sorry for your loss. Jane had done my hair numerous times and her smile and wit were infectious. We often talked about the Yankee games and our families. She will be missed.

To All of the Behm Family, we are so truly heartbroken to hear the news of Jane's passing. She was always so happy and full of life. We had many laughs when she used to cut my hair and then as we would see each other as part of the St. John's Community. She truly loved all her family and her eyes would sparkle when she talked about all of you. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Jane.

Gerry, Jaron and family. My heart aches so much for you all. Jane loved her family so deeply. She was one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. She was a dear friend to me at a very tough time in my life and I used to love to get my hair done just so we could spend time together. We would laugh and solve all the problems of the world. We were so sorry to hear about Jane’s passing. Our son, Ryan and Jaron were good friends during their middle school years at St. John’s.
Both Jane and Jerry were always very good to Ryan welcoming him into their home and bringing him to Yankee games. We really appreciated their kindness.
