Our dear mother Janet K. Garbonola, of Jackson Hill Road, Middlefield, sadly passed away on August 20th, 2024, at the age of 80. She was a wonderful mother, who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, laughter, gardening advice and love in abundance. Beloved wife of the late Louis C. Garbonola, daughter of Stanley Kaczenski and Lorraine Kaczenski and sister to Barbara Schiffert, Stan Kaczenski and Gail Kaczenski. Survived by her two daughters, Lynette and Louise Garbonola, her precious Vixie and her sisters Karen Johnston and Linda Jones along with many dear friends and family. For those whose lives she has touched, The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Saint Coleman Church, 170 Hubbard St, Middlefield, CT 06455. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in her honor to the The Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450 - https://www.meridenhumanesocietyrescue.com.

Janet was one the kindest people I´ve ever known , even if I wasn´t family the feeling would still be the same , always calling to check in , would look forward to a text on every holiday with some kind of emoji or her with a funny hat or sweater, what it took to showcase that particular holiday , the world is definitely not as brite w/o Janet in it , miss her and love her

Lynette and Louise, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I have a treasure trove of memories spending time with you all and I am blessed to have had them as part of my childhood. My daughter Adrienne is Lynette´s next door neighbor and she has grown to consider Janet a second mom. Janet was aways there to help her with her lawn and give her advice about her pond. She was loved and will be sorely missed.
