Janina Christoni Obituary
She was a communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church and belonged to the Polish Falcons Club Nest #519.
Janina is survived by daughters; Wanda Marino and husband Carl Marino, Christine Santostefano Stohlberg and Magdalena Tierney; sons, Floss Lutecki and Carl Lutecki; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:45 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Janina will be laid to eternal rest next to her mother, Maria Peikielniak in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Middlesex Hospice c/o Dept. of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457. Carl, So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a really nice lady. I used to look forward to seeing her and Ramona every morning at the diner, they were so funny together. I'm glad you had brought her to see me in the past few years, she was still a hoot. My prayers and thought are with you and your family.
